這天，烏鴉兄弟出來找食物，碰巧找到一塊肉他們決定逗一逗狐狸，出一口氣，也為烏鴉家族挽回點面子。兄弟倆銜著肉來到狐狸住的山洞前，狐狸正愁著沒有食物吃呢，眼見送上門的美味食物，他豈能這么容易就放過?
可是，無論狐狸怎麼花言巧語地騙烏鴉兄弟口中的肉，無涯兄弟要不就緊緊的閉上嘴巴不說話，，要不就你銜著肉我來回答，我銜著肉你來回答，口中的那塊肥肉始終不掉下來，弄得狐狸像熱鍋上的螞蟻——團團轉，但還是拿他們沒辦法。烏鴉兄弟真是好不高興！
狐狸見自己一計不成，便又生一計：「你們真聰明，這塊肉是烏鴉哥哥發現的吧？」看著烏鴉弟弟嘴裡的那塊肥肉，狐狸故意問。
「不對，是我發現的!」烏鴉弟弟把肉交給烏鴉哥哥，搶著說。「烏鴉哥哥大，應該吃大份。」狐狸繼續挑撥離間，「我吃大份！」烏鴉弟弟一口奪過烏鴉哥哥嘴裡的肉，「我吃大份！」烏鴉哥哥氣得火冒三丈，一口扯住肥肉。「我發現的！」「我吃大份！」烏鴉兄弟你一言，我一語地吵了起來，誰也不讓誰。「哥哥嘛！應該讓著弟弟。弟弟嘛！也應該讓著哥哥。」狐狸繼續火上澆油，「但是我不知道你們到底誰更厲害一些呢？」烏鴉哥哥一聽，更生氣了，放開了肥肉用嘴啄向烏鴉弟弟，烏鴉弟弟也不甘示弱地迎了上去。
「啪！」肉掉在了地上，狐狸迅速地撿起肥肉，吞了下去。「笨蛋！」狐狸拋下一句話後，大搖大擺地走回了洞里，只留下一對呆若木雞的烏鴉兄弟。
不吸取教訓的人，永遠都是最愚蠢的。
