走進學校大門，只見前面牆上有著幾十個金光閃閃的大字，那便是我們的校訓。往右轉彎，左邊便是我們的塑膠大操場。它是那麼紅，那麼耀眼。在那兒，記錄找我們的喜怒哀樂。
看，那兒是新大樓。我們五（一）班，就在二樓。一步一步、慢慢地踏上樓梯，轉眼間，你已經來到了我們的教室。聽著笑聲，看著笑容，我不經意間摘下記憶的銀河中最閃亮的一顆星，細細地欣賞著。
五年級第一學期的4月25日，也許是全班人揮之不去的時刻，因為那天是顧家維的生日。中午，他的爸爸帶來了一盒大蛋糕。望著它，我們饞得口水直流三千尺。大家都沉浸在喜悅的氛圍中。

想到這兒，我不禁笑了，笑得是那麼甜。

中間休息了一會後，我們又來到了小溫泉的地方。那裡還有一個大游泳池，有許多人在游泳，那裡的水比大池裡的水要熱，熱得我直冒汗。
體驗完室內的溫泉，我們又來感受了一下室外的溫泉，這里的水溫比室內的要高。而且水還是紅色的，好像泡在紅酒里。池子旁邊是一個湖，湖口對面是一座雪山，泡著溫泉望著雪山覺得自己好像在畫中。這時空中飄起了雪花，又覺得自己到了仙境，從未有過的感覺。
泡完溫泉出來，整個身子輕鬆了許多，熱乎了許多，心情舒暢了許多。如果有機會，你可一定要去體驗一下泡溫泉的感覺。定會讓你終身難忘。

多閱讀,在閱讀過程中掌握許許多多新詞彙.每接觸一個新詞,要自己造幾個句子,讓自己能靈活運用.然後在寫自己的文章時加進去,那麼自己的作文就如虎添翼了!還要用一些連詞,讓自己的文章更自然.如and,well,however,therefore…
歸納這幾點:
1、以圖表提供情景的作文要以「讀」為主，首先要讀懂圖表中的數據、時間、編碼、序號以及相互間的變化關系，對所給的信息加以分析、推斷、篩選、概括、去粗取精；在寫作時目的要明確，要注意內容的准確性和嚴肅性，尤其是圖表中的數據、時間等不得有誤。
2、以圖畫提供情景的作文應以「看」為主，通過細心觀察圖中的人物、景物、文字、環境、數字等，弄清寫作的意圖，通過分析思考把握邏輯聯系，找出主題並藉助所給的文字，把圖中的信息轉化成文章，但要注意，文章不能停留在圖畫的淺表，而要表達出提供情景的意圖和內涵。
3、以提綱提供情景的作文。這種形式本身的要點已經很明確，重點也很突出，只要把各個提綱加以發揮，注意遣詞造句的靈活性和語法規則的正確性，就不會造成審題不清而偏離主題，但要注意，文章必須覆蓋所提供的各個提綱的要點。
4、以書信格式提供情景的作文。首先要了解書信的格式，英文書信格式與中文有所不同，(1)、一般在信紙的右上角寫上寫信人的地址和日期，地址應按從小到大的順序排列；(2)、左邊頂格寫上收信人的姓名；(3)、正文部分；(4)、祝願的話；(5)、寫信人簽名。信的內容一定要按所給的要求寫，不要漏寫。

二、用英文寫作不同於用母語那樣得心應手，常常會受到生詞、語法、慣用法的限制，只要平時注意兩種語言的異同性，抓住寫作要點，也可妙筆生花。
1、為了保證文章層次分明、條理清楚，要把時間固定下來，如：記敘一件事要用過去時；寫經常發生的事或對人物的描寫，要用一般現在時。整個文章中的人稱要一致，首尾呼應，不要隨意改動，以免造成誤解。
2、不要為了追求「一鳴驚人」而去找一些生冷的詞彙，對這些一知半解的詞你不會用，不知道如何搭配，結果可能適得其反，使文章顯的生硬、不協調，甚至錯誤百出，所以要使用有把握的詞，避免不必要的失分。比如說發生了一起意外事件，我們通常用「have an accident 」來表示，不要錯誤的使用「have an incident」。
3、注意不同語言的表達習慣，也是寫好英語作文的重要環節，如「我的理想是做一名歌手」，很多同學寫成「My ambition is to do/make a singer，」 「to do」表示「做」或者「干」，「to make」表示「製作」，而「做一名歌手」則表示「成為一名歌手」應該用「be/become a singer」；又如「看書、看報」應用「read a book/newspaper」，而不是「see a book/newspaper」。因此，平時應該注意不同語言的表達習慣，切忌望文生義或一味生搬硬套。
4、有些同學因怕出錯而只寫短句或簡單句，寫出的文章過於幼稚、空洞乏味。要使文章有血有肉就要把平時學的知識用進去，如：定語從句、賓語從句、非謂語動詞和比較等句型，關鍵時用上一、二個，就能使文章不同凡響，更有文采，特別是對關聯詞的使用，如「so that」、「not…but 」「not only...but also」等，會使你的文章邏輯結構緊密、層次鮮明、條理清楚，更能顯示出你的英文功底，但要做到這些並非一日之功，要靠平時的不斷訓練和積累。
5、最簡單的增分點就是認真的書寫。工整漂亮的書寫會給評卷老師留下美好的第一印象，在扣分時自然會「手下留情」，而且很多地區都在寫作上有1分的書寫分。只要平時多下點功夫，得到這一分並不難。

A Scary Experience

Suddenly, one of my classmates shouted, 「Look outside!! Someone jumped out of that window!」 This definitely interrupted class, but everyone ignored him because no one believed that people just jumped out of a window in a tall building. People always tell lies and try to trick you, so no one took any action about it. My classmate was still saying, 「Believe me, it is true.」

After a few minutes, the truth shocked everyone, because my classmate was right. A student just committed suicide by jumping from the building which was facing ours. The class stopped and some brave people went outside to see, but I didn』t. They told me there was blood all over the ground. They couldn』t even recognize who that student was because his face was all messed up. People from the school quickly covered the dead body. In a few minutes, everyone in the school knew what just happened.

This whole event happened so quickly. There were actually two people who saw the whole thing. One was my classmate who shouted in the class and another was a teacher walking nearby. The teacher was totally scared. At the moment the student dropped on the ground in front of her she sat down with her eyes shut tightly. I heard that after this event the teacher was in the hospital for a month.
