B. 英語四級變革
大學英語四六級考試歷來被視作大學生英語水平的「試金石」，作為全國規模最大的英語考試，其考查內容即將進行局部調整—來自全國大學英語四六級考試網站的消息，今年12月起，四六級英語考試題型將發生變化：1.聽寫變成全部考查單詞短語;2.快速閱讀變成段落信息匹配題;3.翻譯擴充至150～200字的整段中譯英;4.不再考查完形填空。
最大變化：完形不考，翻譯加重
就聽寫部分而言，過去四六級考試中的復合式聽寫調整為單詞及片語聽寫，短文長度及難度不變。要求考生在聽懂短文的基礎上，用所聽到的原文填寫空缺的單詞或片語，共10題，短文播放3遍。
閱讀歷來是四六級英語考試的重點題型。此次改革後，原快速閱讀理解調整為長篇閱讀理解，篇章長度和難度不變。篇章後附有10個句子，每句一題，所含信息出自篇章的某一段落。專家提示，這種題類似雅思(微博)考試中的「段落信息匹配題」，迷惑性很強。
翻譯題是此次改革中被視為最難的題目類型。據了解，改革後，原單句漢譯英調整為段落漢譯英，翻譯內容涉及中國歷史、經濟、文化社會發展等。四級長度為140～160個漢字，六級長度為180～200個漢字。
此外，將取消原有題型中的完形填空，考試時間則從原有的120分鍾延長至130分鍾，總分仍為710分。
專家解析：難度顯著增大，最大挑戰仍是時間控制
針對此次四六級試卷變化，業內專家認為，四六級考試的題型將高度統一，各題型只在難度上有所差別。整體上考試難度將顯著增大，最大挑戰仍是時間控制，「凡是天天背單詞，從不背句子，不練寫作和翻譯，不去做精聽的肯定過不了」。
以聽寫部分為例。「幾乎所有人都認為，取消句子聽寫會使聽寫難度減弱，恰恰相反，這只會使考生的偶然得分率提高，而如果考生長期忽視聽寫和拼寫，則必然導致失分率增加。」新東方英語四六級培訓老師趙建昆認為，在過去的句子聽寫中，如果寫出整句中的個別單詞即可得到一定分數，而改革後填詞的設計將使得分和失分出現在「轉瞬之間」。
對於「完形不考、翻譯加重」的變化，有專家分析指出，以往完形填空題型中其他3個迷惑答案的投放往往帶有很強的出題人色彩，不符合未來的考查方向;整段英譯漢翻譯則「50%都在考寫作」，「以往題型只需要翻譯5句話，到最後考生要麼隨便一寫、要麼不寫，改革後的翻譯題型則能很好地考查考生的寫作水平，更具科學性。」
專家同時建議，即使題型變化，有些基本功訓練還是必需的，比如詞彙背誦、閱讀訓練、聽寫訓練等。
