哎呀，我也被搞糊涂了，以前看的时候呢，就听很多高手说听过国外的那些linux高手都读“林呢克斯”，但是现在查了一下国外的词典又读“林纳克丝”。但美国人就是喜欢随便发音，呵呵。所以一般还是前面那种比较准确。就是u发音“额”。那个美国的词典网站是这样发音的http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/linux

不是高手。但也做过几年linux开发。

如果你不直接阅读英文文档的版话，对英文几乎没有要求，因为现权在中文资料很丰富。

如果你要看英文资料，比如英文教材，比如英文的man帮助，那么高中英语水平就足够了。
词汇的话，涉及比较多的专业词汇，你可以看我给你的参考资料，这里面的词比较全面了。

在登录的时候，下方（或是其他方位，基于你的linux版本）应该有个”语言“按钮就可选择进入的语言，当然前提是该语言存在。

㈦ linux指令的英文全拼

其实我建议楼抄主不必去背这些东西，重要的是多使用。
我也觉得有些命令记住单词比较好，比如我们常见的文件名乱码问题：convmv -f gbk -t utf8 。这种东西硬背很麻烦，-f 就是from -t就是to 这样就好记多了。而命令的意思我们可以用Linux内置的帮助，一般都是命令 --help这种格式。比如cp --help 里面就显示出来了 -l 就是 --link。-R -r就是 --recursive一下就知道是什么意思了。

命令是用着用着就记住的，多查查man，查查--help自然就容易多了。不知道的功能可以用google查查，比如tar xvzf这种，我也没用单词记，记住xvzf就可以了，因为一般这个就够了，压缩的话就是xcvf。

可以先看看中文的熟悉下。
不过玩多了就会发现英文其实更好用。
看不懂就瞎折腾呗，虚拟机或ubuntu的wubi，不会对原系统造成损伤的，像我电脑里的linux，都不知道重装过多少回了。
凡事自己亲身体验下就明白了。还可以顺便学英文呢。

Linux没有盗版可言，是个免费的操作系统内核，软件是由GNU免费提供的，发行版有很多种，Redhat, Suse, Debian, Slackware, Ubuntu, Mandriva，他们所包含的软件是不大一样的。获取Linux最好的方法是去你所中意的发行版的官方网站上下载一份最新版的ISO镜像，然后把它刻成盘。

Linux对中文支持的不完美，尽量别用中文的界面，但装个中文输入法还是有必要的（如果你所使用的发行版并不包含中文输入法的话）。告诉你一个真理：在Linux下，中文没有存在的意义。如果你有决心把Linux学下去，第2年你就会发现，不管你原先英语有多次，现在已经基本上看英文帮助时不需要查字典了，第三年你会发现，彻底不需要再查字典了。不要害怕英文，每天都能看见，就认识了。
